2008 NAIW Florida Council Meeting NAIW Members and Guests! We invite you to book your flight to the 2008 Florida Council Meeting, September 5-6 in Orlando, Florida. Insurance Professionals of Polk County and Insurance Professionals of Greater Orlando have been working diligently organizing a weekend full of educational opportunities, networking and events for our NAIW family and friends. For those of you working on your PIAM designations, be sure to register early and attend the PIAM class Residential Risk on Thursday, September 4. There will also be a PIAM Designation Ceremony. Friday starts out with our Exhibitors from 8 AM to 3 PM, Credentials, and CE seminars - "Ignoring Flood Insurance Equals an E&O Exposure" and Workshop - Leading or Managing? - Which do you do and what's the difference anyway? First Timers/Gold Timers Meeting followed by Meet the Candidates and the Delegate Briefing. Our opening session begins promptly at 3 PM. We will have a Networking Opportunity before the Welcome Party for our Young Professionals. "It's Your Dream - Just Do It" BBQ Friday night welcome party! NAIW Members, IT'S CONTEST TIME, your association has two opportunities to WIN a Cash Prize! Watch for details and contest rules on the Florida NAIW Website. Join us Saturday for "The Sky is the Limit - Come Soar With Us" CPIW CPIM DAE recognition breakfast followed by our second business session beginning with the CWC Speak-Off competition, Council reports and our Keynote Speaker - Lisa Maile, Image Consultant & Success Coach. Moving right along to the "Flying High with NAIW" Leadership Luncheon followed by the final business session including additional reports and the election of the 2009-2010 officers. Our final CE opportunity - "Auto Theft & Fraud" (for Insurers/Adjusters) and the following Workshops - Reward Yourself - How to apply for and win NAIW Awards and "How To" Perform an Ergonomic Evaluation That Saves $$$ and Prevents Injuries will also be offered on Saturday. Saturday night's gala finale "NAIW-The Power Beneath Your Wings" begins with cocktails at 7 PM, a classic dinner show followed by our elite award presentations and our installation of officers.
